(TEMPE, Ariz) The National Speakers Association (NSA) has released the 2002 edition of Who's Who in Professional Speaking: The Meeting Planner's Guide. The 496-page directory is one of the meetings industry's most comprehensive reference books and features more than 4,000 professional speakers in 21 countries.
"The directory is a must-have, as it provides access to over 4,000 experts in an amazing range of fields. It makes it easy to find that perfect speaker," says 2001-2002 NSA President Jim Rhode, CSP. "Inside the pages of this valuable reference book, meeting professionals will find people committed to their own professional development as a speaker and individuals who make meetings more effective, productive and exciting."
The directory lists all of NSA's members alphabetically with photos, contact information and professional descriptions. Speakers are also searchable by topic or location and there are special listings of speakers who have earned NSA's Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation and those who are members of the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame.
As a service to meeting planners and business professionals, the directory also provides tips for hiring and working with speakers, including NSA's "Ten Steps to Finding the Right Speaker" section.
